Measuring optimism bias among military personnel

High numbers of young military personnel die due to road traffic collisions (RTCs). Yet, there is a paucity research related the contributing factors (i.e., optimism bias and willingness take risks) associated with RTCs examination safety education program tailored at reducing fatalities. In order address this gap in literature, we examined one specific educational intervention for UK investigated their attitudes towards program, risks. Measures evaluating bias, risks were asked after participants attended interventions. The results revealed that personnel, aged 18–25, had higher compared older effect diminishes age. provide importance evidence personnel’s risk-taking.
